As part of Live & Learn: enriching lives through monthly learning series, RML is offering Beginning Sign Language (ASL) on Thursday, April 27 at 5:30 pm in the lower level Community Room.
This program is presented by Michelle Gerlach. Michelle has grown up around Deaf Community. Join her as she shares the value of ASL and teaches the translation of ASL to the English language. Class instruction includes:
- Communicating with the hard of hearing and Deaf persons
- Five sign parameters of hand shapes
- Greetings
- Alphabets
- Numbers 1-10
