The library has a collection of genealogical materials including local family histories, cemetery records and other items of interest.

Genealogical materials in our Iowa Collection are indexed in our online catalog.  We also have a limited card index of genealogical information.

• Many items in the Iowa Collection are for In Library Use Only and are available for reading during our library hours.
• The Allamakee County Historical Society offers resources to the public.
• The Allamakee County Recorder's office provides access to public records. Please contact them regarding their services.
