Teen Advisor Board (TAB)
Teen Advisory Board is open to students in grades 7 through 12. This initiative offers local teens a unique opportunity to have their voices heard and make a meaningful impact on library services.
The Teen Advisory Board plays a key role in shaping the library’s teen programming and collection development. Participants are invited to share their ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate on projects that enhance the library experience for their peers. Discussions may include potential projects, displays, and events specifically designed to engage the teen community.
“The Teen Advisory Board is a great way for students to take an active role in their library,” said Chris Kerndt, Teen Programming Coordinator at RML. “We’re eager to hear their perspectives and work together to create programming and resources that resonate with local teens.”
The Advisory Board meets regularly once a month at Robey Memorial Library September through May. This is a fantastic opportunity for teens to develop leadership skills, connect with others who share their interests, earn volunteer hours and contribute to their community in a meaningful way.
